RD&E; Research Symposium 2018

Improving Health through Clinical Research at the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust

Invites have been sent out for the 5th Annual Research Symposium being held from 11.00-16.30 on Thursday 8th November 2018 in RILD.

We are pleased to announce our Keynote speaker, Adam Zeman, Professor of Cognitive and Behavioural Neurology, who will be talking about ‘Adventures in Memory’.

We have worked with research teams across the Trust  to develop  a wide ranging programme  celebrating RD&E; research including: patient experiences,  using technology in communicating with participants’, research within the Trust and approaches/studies facilitating collaboration.

Our poster competition is back and we are once again asking for high quality abstracts across three categories.  The winner of each category will be announced at the symposium.  We are also asking all attendees to vote for their favourite poster on the day for the “People’s Choice” award again this year. Posters will be available to view all day, with presenting authors available to discuss their work from 11.00-12.30

Lunch, tea and coffee will be provided so please indicate any specific Dietary Requirements that you may have.

Please note that due to the seating capacity at the venue, attendance at this event is ‘by invitation only’ and we would confirm that the closing date for registration is Monday 22nd October.  If you would like to register after that date, please contact Kevin Thorpe (kevin.thorpe@nhs.net) to see if there are any available seats.

We look forward to you joining us to celebrate research here at RD&E.
