We hope that this bulletin finds you safe and well.
Urgent public health research into COVID-19 continues to be the key priority for CRN SWP research delivery teams as we move into the next stage of the pandemic. The number of COVID-19 cases is falling regionally. As a result the NHS is reviewing how to restart many clinical services and we are considering how we can ‘restart’ our patient, public involvement and engagement (PPIE) work.
Public Health England (PHE) guidelines developed for our wellbeing and to reduce the transmission of the disease mean that the way in which we work and what we can do will be different but the contribution and support of patients and public will continue to be of great importance. As we review our plans and formalise the projects that we would like to deliver, we will share opportunities for participation and involvement with you.
Please do get in touch with any queries or suggestions that you may have about PPIE. We would love to hear from you.
