Despite the weather the EDGE Aspire Conference took place in Birmingham at the VOX Centre. Tracey Hole, Information Analyst and EDGE Champion, was invited to hold two workshops at the conference, sharing the RD&E’s knowledge of how we use our EDGE instance. EDGE is a research management system which empowers research managers, data analysts, research nurses, clinicians and support services to make the most of their information.
The conference again focused on opportunities to improve the efficiency and productivity of clinical research. The conference brought together members of the research community including research professionals from the NHS, Clinical Trial Networks and international organisations, allowing them to share knowledge and best practise with the aim to enhance clinical research across the UK, Canada and beyond.
(Tracey’s presentation slides from the conference can be found here, in case you never got the chance to hear Tracey speak, http://edgeclinical.com/s/Tracey-Hole.pdf.)
Tracey also had her poster “Patient Pathway – from start to finish” displayed at the EDGE conference.
