June Update

Sophie Whiteley is now a Registered Clinical Research Practitioner (CRP)! Following a successful application to the NIHR and Academy of Healthcare Science. Being a registered CRP “demonstrate(s) to patients, colleagues and employers that they are skilled professionals, competent, trustworthy and committed to achieving high standards of personal behaviour and technical competence”. Being part of an accredited register also provides the means to take action should there be concerns about a registrant’s fitness to practice” therefore providing accountability.

The Edge Review and subsequent report in May 2021 included recommendations to promote the online system the Trust uses to manage clinical research activity and raise awareness of the benefits it brings.
Activities led by the Edge Task and Finish Group have included the development of marketing materials to support a reboot and encourage users to engage with the system starting with The Edge Pledge.

Trailblazer Campaign
